information.
Apple Valley is located in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul in Minnesota, in the area where Interstates 35-W and 35-E converge, making Apple Valley real estate very convenient for commuters going to either Minneapolis or St. Paul. Apple Valley's homes for sale range from older to new and small to large size. The city has seen its strongest growth in the 1980's and 1990's but in more recent years the city has continued to grow and seen more condos and townhomes added to the housing mix as land prices rose and housing density goals increased.
Apple Valley real estate prices have taken a tumble with
the housing market downturn, especially with neighboring cities having
so many foreclosures, but have stabilized recently. While a quick run-up
in prices is not expected, Apple Valley real estate values are most
likely done falling and may start trending up slightly by 2012.
The recent addition of rapid bus transit down Cedar Avenue in Apple
Valley may also improve demand for apple valley homes for sale since it
is expected to make commuting faster and more appealing to those on the
corridor.
The best way to fully understand the apple valley real estate market and
which of the homes for sale are best for your needs is to enlist the
help of a Realtor. Most buyers wait till they've located a short list of
homes for sale that they want to see before contacting an agent,
spending much of their time trying to understand the areas and dynamics
of real estate when if they had called a Realtor sooner, that agent
could have shared a lot of real estate knowledge and helped them focus
their search in much less time.
