Crystal, MN City and Real Estate Info

Crystal is located just west of Minneapolis and is bordered by Golden Valley, New Hope, Robbinsdale, Minneapolis, and Brooklyn Center.  It is home to one of the regional airports, which is currently under consideration for redevelopment, though the chances it will change are unlikely at this time.  Just recently the Crystal Shopping Center on Bass Lake Road had a major face lift of the storefronts and some new tenants move in, which has provided a fresh new look for what was becoming a tired facade.

Crystal's location near Minneapolis and it's excellent access to highway 100 and transit makes it a great first-ring suburb.  The city has a vast assortment of housing options, including some condos and townhouses as well as pockets of newer homes, though most of the homes are from the 1960's-1970's.
